are eclipses really that great

hi i have heard a lot obout eclipses and talons being really good cars i was hoping i could get a few opinions to see if there really as good as i here they are.

Great for what? They're alright I guess, I don't think I'd ever buy another one if it came down to it though. I have a 95, I like the body style it's not fast but it looks nice. My next car is an STi, I'm all done with Mitsubishi, I've had two Eclipses a 94 previously. I only got them because they were extremely cheap. go figure.

dont let him scare you away! I love my car and it has great potential to be fast. they are good cars and they ride like a dream at lest mine dose. have had minor probles when i got it "plugs wires belts little stuff". Oh and the new lancer evolution is faster in all ways than the sti! inmy opinon and car and driver likes it too http://www.caranddriver.com/article....&page_number=1

hey thanks i was just wondering but i heard eclipses and talons were the same thing iand i liked my brothers 95 talon a lot. thanks a lot

Yea, same basic car, as were the old plymouth lasers as well. I love my car, I'm a huge fan and have driven lots of different things. For the money I spent I don't think I could have come up with anything better for what I wanted in a car.
