how much money do you plan on spending. Because you can get some real good stuff from www.buschurracing.com they are expensive, but are one of the best. Also AMS has good stuff. Other than that there is always looking into slowboy. But ive heard horror stories about service. so id stay away from them. What kinda turbo and power do you plan on getting

you want to rebuild your engine becuase it has 107k miles????? Why not mod the hell out of it, throw everything you can at it and learn how to tune, you can get a new one when that one takes a dump on you. I dono seems more logical to me, practice on it instead of blowing a nice new one.

yea i like dsm's take on it. That engine can last into 200k if maintained, and most if they werent maintained will go around 130k. Thats just from what ive see. Its not what will happen. Its just what ive observed. So might as well mod it, have some fun, and if it goes then spend the money to build itup

One of the quickest and easiest ways to know the overall condition of your engine.

Take the valve cover off and look in it for sludge or deposits.
If it looks clean and there is no gunk built up, you know the gy=uy took relatively good care of it.

or do a compression test. That will tell you how well the cylinders and seals are

Mine has 133,xxx doesn't burn or leak a drop of oil. Starts up perfect everytime and i've modded it and I give it hell from time to time. I don't see it going anytime soon. I wouldn't worry about 107,xxx miles bro. I like this guys take on it mod it and drive it until you know its getting ready to go just have your motor on the side ready for when that happens.
