right now its all the way up at 60mph, so tmrw, ill get a friend to drive a long aside me at prolly 20mph but that means i should just move the needle to 20 and it should work?
Right now if i try to move it to zero it will just go all the way back up to 60

 

Just pace a buddy on a good straight road. Just go ahead and remove the needle before you roll off, lol.
The reason your speedo goes back to 60 is because the rod has nothing to stop it once you remove the needle. The rod just keeps going and that's why it's so off. You can't just push the needle to zero. There's a potentiometer type motor in there, it doesn't work like that, bro, lol. It's not the needle, it's the rod
The gas gauge is easy but may need to be moved again, if you don't set it up right the first time.

 

lol ok well nobody is up at the moment but I messed around with the needle, i got it to be at zero but hell i dont know if its below zero, ill wait and see tmrw

 

remove the instrument panel trim, pull out the panel and remove the clear plastic.
Stick the cluster back in and crank the car.
Let it idle a minute, then pull off the speedo needle and place it FIRMLY against the stopper on the gauge.
Do the same for the rpms, but set it at 800-900 instead.
Thats how I did mine and everything read 100% right.
well... the rpms were off by 50. lol

 

If I put the needle on too hard, it wont move, so i have to put it half way, and some reason my temperature gauge isn't working. My rpm is accurate, i can't really tell if my mph is though

 

The Temp gauge is still stuck, i dont know whats wrong, i screwed the gauge over the original and its not working? I really dont think this was worth all the trouble lol..at least on my part
