putting on a bigger intercooler on the stock turbo really wont give you much gain, but its not longer piping that makes it inefficient, its the size of the piping. Larger piping = more area = more flow. So the smaller turbo will not flow as freely though the larger piping.

Awesome. So I put in my Manual Boost Controller and it adjusts fine, all I did was plug the stock tubs from the stock everything else into the two nipples on my MBC. Works great and easy to adjust. The only thing is when I was tuning it, i noticed my psi go up to 18 and as i kept accelerating it went down to about 15. Is it normal to have a surge like that? Also is there a different intercooler you would recommend putting in? It would be about the same place as my curent one, but maybe a little bigger? Maybe one from a later model supra or a 3000GT?

I dont understand this....but anyway

Dont boost past 15-16psi because the stock t-25 is usless past that. Thats why your boost is spiking and then dropping. Also your stock fule system isnt really good past 17psi so im suprised you have hit fuel cut, but im sure if you kept it like this you would eventually. Just turn it back down to 15 and youll be all set. Yes the Supra SMIC will work. It will take alittle custom work to fit it, but there is a good write-up on Vfaq.com that shows how to get it in there. Dejon Powerhouse also makes a nice SMIC that fits right in there but for the amount they charge your better off just getting a FMIC.
