are you possibly cross-threading them? not putting them in straight? you said they are NEW bolts, correct?

 

the first time it happened i used the same ones. then i got it redone, bought new bolts n one snaped again

 

Over tightening them? What sort of wrench are u using?

 

torque wrench. 1/2in tho. thats were i think the problem is.

 

First, many torque wrenches have different scales for foot pounds, inch pounds and newton meters. You sure you have the right scale? If so, and you have quality head bolts, your wrench is got to be off. Just to clarify we are talking the head bolts and not the valve cover bolts correct?

 

cam bolts. the 10mm bolts that cover over the cams

 

what torque are you using on them?

 

the manual i have says 21. which i thought from the begining was BS. so i looked online today. its only 9........

 

ah that would do it. Actually here is the correct torque spec on them

Inner Caps (2,3,4,5)= 9ftlb
Outer Caps (1,6)= 21ftlb

So im guessing its the inner ones that you are breaking
