Where can I find the rear hatch?
Hi, just a noob question. I've had my 96 eclipse for 7 years now, 123k, mechanically in great condition, never any problems with it. unfortunately, I didnt take good care of the body, and it developed 2 rust holes on the rear hatchback, just where the rubber thingy meets the glass. It was leaking really bad during rains and flooding my trunk, so I decided to put that Bondo stuff on it to seal it and stop the leaks. I did a really lousy job, and now the rear hatch looks terrible. I'd like to keep this car for a while.
Long story short, I'm thinking of replacing the rear hatch. But I dont know where to find one. junkyards? Online? And how do I find the junkyards anyway?
Sorry, like I said, noob questions. Just wanted any ideas on how to proceed. Oh and I was thinking of having it painted afterwards too (really cheaply too ). Anyway its would make me feel better since I use it as a daily driver

there are better places IMO to find used hatches for your car. Either here
www.dsmtrader.com
or here
www.car-parts.com <<this one is an online junkyard
