Seriously, is there amoderator on this board? If so, i think he should put up a post-it note or something like that for newbies. I'm not trying to be mean or anything to hyekaiflkjh....?, but there have been so many people who've asked this question. And usually, it's their first post.

Here's a quick overview; Filter, exhaust, boost gauge(stock gauge is more like an educated guess), 1g bov, and front strut bar. All are relatively cheap, excluding the exhaust, So you won't spend that much. When you've completed those mods, Then start moving to bigger things like a turbo and ic upgrade.

That's true, i was new once. And that's the same advice i got. "Check the VFAQS, they'll tell you everything" was one of the first reponses i got when i first asked questions. You know, there's already aplace dedicated to answering the newbie questions, no matter how simple or outrageous they can be. I'm not saying that people who ask questions are just wasting our time or space, but before you ask, do a little homework and research. If you type in "eclipse GST mods" in yahoo, you're bound to come across the VFAQs site. Also, if you look at the recent message threads on this board, you'll see the same question posted and answered. I don't want to get on anyone's nerves or anything, i never meant to be mean. But you do have to admit, a post-it note on this board for newbies would answer a lot first time questions.

I'll gladly answer his question, but i'd tend to be one sided to the mods i have or my friends have. You know, like for exhaust systems. I'd prefer a tanabe for it's power but some other people may prefer the apexi for it's price. On the VFAQS site, there's another link to a place called dsmreviews. As you can guess, it's a place where you can go and review what people said about what mods they did to their car and which items are good and which to stay away from. It's a good place to start if you want to do your first mod. There's also DSMTuners and pretty much any shop site like MachV or Extreme Motorsports has an upgrade path with good beginners mods.
