woah dude chill... first of all who are even talking too? and second of all, he asked what the motor was, not what can be swapped... and thirdly you cant swap a 4g63 motor into the gs without an EXTENSIVE amount of mods and fabrications... im not even sure its possible seeing as how ace just told us that he tried it and it wouldnt work... and no one said anything about knowing everything on this forum, everyone's just trying to help everybody else out, we were just correcting your misinformation and making it clear to guy what engine he needs to get

Look this crap with the 4g63 areguement in a 420a engine is done. Im tired of arguements over this. Just tell them to do searches from now on. Yes is it possible. Yes it has been done. Is it cost efficient? NO!! You need to do extensive metal fabrication to get the motor to fit right, you also need to make custom mounts with the 1g mounts. and you need the suspension upgraded also. I have heard of one guy that was able to do everything for around 2k-2500 however this was him doing ALL the work. Now how is this ever gonna be cost efficient when they already make a turbo eclipse ready to buy.

Dont do the swap....end of story
