how much extra horse power will i get if i add an injen short ram IS intake?

so yeah how much more will i get, and is it worth its, or should i jus get the K&N fipk? im new at getting into this whole tuning thing, and jus bout my first car...a 95 gst, but yeah how much extra horsepower will i get, will it be more than the K&N filter?

you can get about 3... they say gains up to 10hp, but that only if your throwing on other mods also.. Then it will free them up to actually gain that 10hp.. But an intake only will only give you about 2-3hp..

i think the fipk is one of the best intakes out there for a 2g isnt it

Last time i heard kn were good for domestics and offroads, and injen, and all that good for imports

ok but yes, ure not answering my question, witch would i gain more horse power from, i already have an exhaust system, soon to get a downpipe, would i get more power from the SI injen short ram intake, or the K&N fipk filter?i know the fipk can make bout 8 at the height, but i have no idea on the injen

There about the same... Doesnt really matter to much.. Go with whichever one you like the looks of better, b/c the performance isnt gonna make a difference between the two...

agree with everything that TheAdvocate has said. K&N and Injen are great names and will give you equal performance gains. i've heard of problems w/ the K&N on the EVO's and just a handfull of problems w/ the DSM's b/c of something having to do w/ the Mitsu MAF. I personally would go w/ the Injen just b/c it' so widely used and that's what i see on all of the really high hp eclipses.
