Default RE: How reliable

So I couldn't make about 40 - 50 hp on one unless I bought a turbo, but that would be a waste of 2-3 k...? That sucks...but I just need a car about now. I'm really tired of having nothing. Besides that, its probably faster still than my Blazer was...even with the 50 hp more, my blazer weighed probably 1000+lbs more. Around here, you don't have to have much hp to be what people consider 'fast.' My friend has a 94 (i think) Altima GXE and people always go on about how fast his car is...mostly because they hear his claims of beating cars that in reality would stomp the **** out of his car. Like a Pontiac GTO...but he just managed to keep up with a v6 mustang...and he lost to an eclipse at the vally (local 1/8 mile track) by about .5 seconds...running something between an 8 and a 10...i've heard varying numbers. Around here, escort zx2's and altimas are called fast. Altima's might have the fastest 0-60 on an n/a 4 cylinder, but they aren't what I'd call fast. Fast to me is bugatti veyron's 0-60 of 2.7 seconds...

There like any car.... the more work you do to them and the more you race it then the less reliable it will be. Not saying all cars end up like this. But with a DSM, most people half *** **** and it ends up breaking and they complain its the car.
