But seriously just get a manual from autozone or something. It will help imensly. I believe you will also need a special tool to take out the head studs. And you will need a torque wrench if you plan on putting the head back on. And just so you know, taking it off is the easy part...its putting the stuff back together that is the bitch

i'm debating on what the rtfm means... it's either Ride The FemaleMember, or Read The F***ing Manual... and since he's holdin a book above his head, i'm gonna guess it's the latter

I used the manual to replace the heads on a buick regel i had years ago. First time really doing anykind of major repair.and i gotta say it really helped alot.

You guys are wrong. How do you expect to remove your timing belt without removing your front engine mount and crank pulley? Those 2 things have to come off so you can get the lower cover off and access your tensioner.
Also, don't forget you have 2 braces for your intake manifold that bolts to the block along with someof vacuum lines.
