Ok I reset it by taking off the neg batter cable. It now idles at 1,500 and while I am driving it stays at 2,000 untill I come to a complete stop , it will then drop back down after a second to 1,500. I am going to wait for the CEL to come back up and see if anymore error codes come up that didn't come up before. CROSSING FINGERS. [:@]

ok so rule that one out, haha. And the reason you couldnt find a idle screw if because the 420a doesnt have one.

ok got a few pics here, i know it's one of 2 places.... so EITHER!!!! in the first pic you have to pop that lil cap off and the scew is inside there OR! in the second one inside that lil hole is the screw. now that you have the pics all you need is somebody that knows what they are talking about to tell you which is correct

Actually I took a look inside there and that srew is correct because it is closed up when the throttle is all the way back. If I losen or tighten it any, it would cause it to be open slightly.

The code is P1294 and reads injector high side open - bank 2/target idle not reached. I $%@#*! hate that code.

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to put the answer to my problem for people doing searches. The reason for the idle problem was the intake manifold gasket, I replaced it, which took me nearly all day, and now I am idling at a nice 800 rpms. The new gasket cost me only seven bucks.
