Default idle problem

just put in my e3 16g and a boost gauge, and its throwing on a p0505 code, but it says its pending, i did a few searches and somebody said if its pending then it is probably electrical, and the only electrical thing ive done to the car is the boost gauge

http://www.roadraceengineering.com/i...structions.htm

that is wat i looked at to decide where to wire it, i however did wire it the way it says to wire it on the 1g, not the 2g. would that throw the code???

i believe that code is for the ISC, but adjusting the BISS may make it go bye bye.

do you have any surging problems or rough idle? what exactly did you tap into wiring wise? oh just realized that it may be a boost leak, run a test too. hopes this helps.

To adjust the idle properly go to www.vfaq.com.

Also do a boost leak test.

what exactly is the BISS and yes i have idle surge, and when i first start it up in the morning it does this crazy thing where itll shoot up to about 1.5k and then drop down to about 250 rpm and almost die, it will do it about 5 times then idle regularly, with little surge. if i try to drive it before letting it do its thing the 5 times, it bogs down and tries to die while driving.

and its possibly a boost leak since i just put the 16g, gauge, and mbc on it lol but i didnt think a leak would make it come on, ill check later.

the car runs really good, it has a small cutout under full throttle but other than that p0505 code and the idle surge there really isn't anything noticeably wrong with it.

I would suggest replacing the maf and follow the vfaq and you'll find whats causing the idle surge.

The biss is the screw on top of the throttle body, also check your vacuum lines maybe you left one off.
