gotta get my car inspected...everything on my car passed except the check engine light is on, i knew it was one of two things, either my downpipe or BOV, i swapped the downpipe back out for the stock cat and its still on...so its my BOV.... they put the codes and tried ot clear it but did not work..is there anyway to temporarily turn off or remove my CEL

 

Remove the battery and leave it to drain the system of power... that might reset it and reset the check engine light.
