Installing Nitrous Kit

Installing Nitrous Kit
I have a 2001 GT (3.0L v6) and I want to install a nitrous kit. But, I want to know if I need to upgrade any parts beforehand ie: pistons, head, etc... Is it ok to simply install with my engine as it is? The only thing that has been previously installed is an AEM CAI. I could use any helpful feedback as to what is the best kit and where to get one as well, I found one at nitrousdirect.com for pretty cheap.
I am also looking at purchasing a thermal catback exhaust sytem i found here. Would this be a good investment or would a Borla or Magnaflow work better as far as increased hp and performance goes?

RE: Installing Nitrous Kit
exaust will help but its not needed, for a 75 shot you should be alright internal wise. The only hard part is getting the taps in the intake mani. Dry is much easier to hook up but the wet is much safer.

RE: Installing Nitrous Kit
I have a 2000 GT and i am currently running a 50 shot wet kit on a stock motor, but i dont think u have to tap into the intake manifold in order to operate the kit, unless u are going for direct port. I just tapped the nozzle into my colsd air intake, and it works fine.
