Just got this '99 GS-T the other day...
^Thanks. The covers I've come across in the yard were indeed broken, brittle plastic.
Well, sure enough the Spyder fog lights were gone. In fact, the whole car was gone, and replaced with a red '99 RS. So I grabbed the rear bumper cover since mine was green (and not installed very well anyway).
Looks much better, ya...?

After hours of trying to beat/clamp/burn out the oem bushing from the trailing arm, I gave up and had the boy take it with him to school. He brought it back a couple hours later, mission accomplished.
I re-used the red bushing that came off the broken arm, went to put the new arm on and ran into this problem, looky:

It doesn't reach, wtf...
Appears I got some more work on the rear suspension...
And still more surprizes - look what I found behind the wheel, pretty sure thats not stock...?

Not much is going to get done until the suspension is figured out so that I can at least turn the car around in the driveway...
Sheesh!

^Thanks. That sounds like good news, I got 'em in the front too. And like the rear, all the brackets and arms appear to be newer.
Still limited by time-
Front O2 sensor is in - not that it matters seeing as how I can't go anywhere...
It might be hard to tell being parked on the driveway and all, but does this look like it's lowered at all? Or does it look normal?

I don't understand whats going on to cause this...
Trailing arms should come off and go on by removing the two bolts, right? The manual doesn't say anything about raising the rear or anything like that.
Is something bent? I don't know what to do...
Btw, the other one is cracked and looks like it'll go anytime now too. And both of them look like they have broken before and got welded back into position maybe...
This is the other one: (thats the weld on the top)

What the Hell...

Well, I got it on...
Can't say I'm happy about it though, because I really had to force it. About the only thing I am happy about is that I didn't kill myself or break anything else in the process. Talk about shady tree - Jesus, you don't even wanna know- I'll tell you this much- it involved ramps, two jacks, small sledge, a C clamp and a whole lot of convincing.
Again, I'm not sure if that was the best idea - making it bolt up. But at least it's on there for now, and I can take it to an alignment shop and see what they have to say about it.

What up!! I havn't had time to do anything further with the eclipse other than new O2 sensors and get the cel operational - it had no bulb- and after a new rear O2 sensor, the cel light still hasn't come back on
The general consensus with this car seems to be that there's too much fuel being dumped into the cylinders by the aftermarkert fuel pump and rail along with the stock FPR.
Does it make sense to get an adjustable FPR and wideband O2 to solve this? Is that all I need, or am I missing something still?
This car is still on the back burner for now- I need new hubs and tie rods in the Caddy, and Mama needs new brakes on her truck too.
All my free time went into this that I picked up for $500 - a radiator, water pump and few other small things here and there, and it's running like a champ. Oh, plus unnecessary head gasket replacment Monday... haha, oh well it couldn't hurt right?

1994 Plymouth Laser 1.8L - MUCH better first car for a beginning driver, dontcha think? LoL
Peace!
