Theres a few more defect in the paint, like peels and **** on the passenger side.
So I can go through he body shop at the dealership I work at and spend $800 and that covers sanding, priming, paint, labor, everything

 

dude, did the guy that had the car before you paint it himself or something?? it doesnt even look like he sanded it down or prepped it at all for that matter

 

It could be worse, Ive got a black 01 GT... with the ubiquitus grey spots... Patheticly, I Kryloned them until I had $$ for a paint job. Which finaly happens this wknd. About that... how much paint and whatnot does one require to cover a 3G?

 

i'm not paint expert but i'd say 2 pints would do you just fine, you also need primer, hardener and clearcoat. are you doing it same color? if not and you want to do door jams, engine bay, trunk jams etc etc you may need more.

 

Yes, yes, same color... but what would be closest to Kalapana black that wouldnt have the same problems that the OEM version had?

 

that would be a paint person question. go to an auto paint location and ask them, they can look up the paint code for your car and use a different/better paint in the same code.
