when i turn i hear a knock. i cant tell if its in the bay, floorboard, or hatch.
i can take jurk it left to right n hear it. 95 gs

Get yourself a mech. stethoscope and listen if it's coming from the motor. If not, maybe wheel bearing??

is it like popping? popping would likely be a cv joint... can you still hear it if you do it when your stopped

well i would check the boot around the cv joint and see if its torn anywhere. Cuz that is usually the reason they break is getting particles in there
