Check the weather strip around the hatch, you could have a small tear in it leting water leak into the trunk.

i have checked the weatherstripping as well it seems like the water is coming in from behind the plastic sides when i pulled them off on both sides of the car and it is filling up the spare tire well

Your sure the little hatch drain holes arent plugged shut with leaves or debris? It happens a lot, and isnt always obvious. Try sticking a hanger or something into them...

it is not the drain hoses they run free. i am a experinced mechanic so i have looked at all the obvious places so it isnt obvious where the water is coming from. it was coming from the tailights at first but i sealed them up the only other place it may be coming from is thewiper fluid bottle i removed the other night and it was full of water and when i would spray the hatch with water i get water going down throught the wiper fluid bottle hose has anyone ever had this happen

well guys i found the water leak its coming from the driver side of the car right where the bumper meets the quarter panel there is the body gap there and while spraying it with a hose and watching thee inside of the trunk i found the water to be seeping in through a seam that has 2 spot welds on it. so im going to use some body sealer to fix that but does anybody know is it a pain in the *** to remove the rear bumper cover
