Default MAFT?

Alright tell me if Ive got this right. After you upgrade your tubo to say a 16G (what Im planing) you need to get better injectors and a fuel pump and a fuel controller. A way around the computer is to replace your stock MAFT, or is it the sensor, with a GM model one and that dose away with the computer. Or hows it work?

u can run a 16g safely at 15lbs with a bigger fuel pump alone, but anything more an you need bigger injectors, and some way to control them. two options are either an safc or replacing the stock MAS AND you must also buy the MAFT which controls the new MAS (or you can have the MAFT and an safc together). Ive know people can tune them to perform decent themselves, but if you want to tune well (and safe) you're going to need a datalogger to watch how your car is running.

You shouldnt need to buy the maft just the afc to do fuel tuning

no you dont NEED the maft unless you decide to go with a GM MAF. like i said you can either go with an safc or the new mas and maft or both. obviously there are benefits with going with the maft or people wouldnt be doing it
