I have a 96 mitsubishi eclipse RS couldn't find a gst or gsx, anyways Can someone please tell me all the parts (and prices) that i would need for my car to beat a 06 GT Mustang (please don't say a new car im being series) Money is not an issue im just new to this whole tuning car deal. So what parts should i buy brand and everything (most likely taking the car and the suggested parts to a auto shop) So can anyone help me out?

Alot of money and a waste of time...SERIOUSLY!!. Im not just trying to be a dick. But you need to Turbocharge the car and you need to have the bottom end built up cuz its gonna take more than just 8psi to get to a mid 14 sec car. Id say your looking atleast $7k and that is being optimistic. So unless your willing to spend at least that much and put your time into it not to mention loosing some reliablility with that head gaskets in that car going.

I know you dont want to hear it, but a GST can keep up with one withonly intake, exhaust, MBC, and Boost guage

Yea, i was like you thinking if i spent alot of money into a 420a it woulld go fast. Guess again. These cars are only good for gas milage. by the time you spend the 7k investing into your 420a you could have avery respectibly gst or gsx.

I hope you know an 06 mustang gtruns mid 13's right. So yeah either a built motor w/ turbo = a lot of $$$ or a new car like a gsx w/ mods or an evo. Good luck.

First thing while you may be new to the uner car thing, you I am afraid to say do not have a tuner car. You essencailly have a dodge neon in an eclipse body. Also for what your looking for bringing it to an autoshop your looking at months of time and labor that will cost upwards of a few $1000's alone in labor. If your gonna sinck $10k into a motor and only get 13s then why not take that $10k and add it to what your car is worth. Sell the car and buy an Evo that is running low 13s already

That is how serious it gets when you own a RS or GS

yea speking from exprerience its not worth it, i use to have a gs, and i put at least 800 in mods and i still couldnt keep up with alot of cars, so now i just bought a gst, threw a turboback exhaust on and a cold air intake, mbc, and a boost gauge and now i can keep up with alot
