Is your SSQ VTA or recirc? because VTA will cause you too wait for a little more spool time when changing gears. But yes with a MBC you can run 14PSI I Have seen some guys running 18 on stock fuel but you really shouldnt do that staying under 16 will be fine. A MBC isnt that bad but can be a pain to have to adjust everyday.
The simplest way to fix the vent problem.... dont take your foot off the gas while shifting, no bov release, no down time.
Im sure the lovely DSMs tranny will like that. The tranny is the weakest like in those cars

yeah my hks ssqv has the recirculation kit on it. Screw shifting like that why not spend the extra 40$ to recirculate instead of buying a new tranny!

and you Have a DSM which they love to blow up trannies. just like the EVOs love to blow up the transfer cases

I have had my car for 15 months. Everyday I power shift, not yet have I had a problem with my tranny/clutch.
