Is it still putting out white smoke?

 

I had the idle issues happen not to long ago blew a few vac hoses loose i would check all of yours.

 

Check all your vacuum hoses like what get435 said and also check the iac, these cars have issues w/ those things. Also check your timing and try ajusting the idle if you can and make sure your throttle cable isnt stuck or hanging open.

 

its idling at 4000.. the rpm is to high to have white smoke..

i just put my boost leak checker and, i have a little boost leak but nothing huge...

 

^^^Check your throttle linkage and iac valve.

even thought it is white smoke i would then do a compression test. Did you notice if it was running a little hot at all? It dose not make since that it would blow white smoke unless you are burning coolant. Are you sure it was fuel that came out of the exhaust or water that smelled like rich exhaust?

Try turning it down but make sure the throttle cable isnt hanging open or binding.
