My 95 mitsubishi eclipse gst idles really ruff and shuts off everytime i push the clutch in but if i let the clutch back out it will idle fine! I replaced the ignition control module and its still doing it and i dont know whats wrong! Can you help me please?

 

eclipseaddict.... I have a 01 eclipse gt but it's an automatic not a straight shift so it's totally different,but mine started doing something very simular to that.I found out that the distributor cap wasn't on right & it would idle really high then come down to a slow idle then shut back off.So maybe try checking that & see if it helps you! GOOD LUCK!

 

The check engine light finally came on yesterday when i was messing with it so i hooked my computer up to it and it read the camshaft sensor was bad so i ordered it today and its gonna be here tomorrow so hopefully that'll solve the issue
