ok Im planing to get a 1999gst he said its got a 16g turbo I do not know anything about mitsubishis at all thats why im here it looks good but he said the tps is gone because some times it shuts off and idels weird but i was a rotary guy what are some thing I should look for thanks

 

These things are maintenance ******. Take a compression tester with you, don't buy a non running car, and try to avoid cars that are modified or have been modified.

 

thanks yea the car runs and runs real good just that stupid idel prob just trying to see if I should look for anything impicticular and all it has is a 16g turbo but all stock

 

If its ALL STOCK with a 16G, that is part of the idle problem. The 16G is a larger turbo than stock and it should have several mods to go with the 16G upgrade. Especially a reprogram/tune of the ECU for the higher boost as well as a turbo timer/controller
