I was wondering if anybody could help me with a tire issue, long story short I have been looking for tires for my eclipse its a 96' rs and I have a friend who has some that he thought were 215/45r/17 which is what it calls for whenever I ask around or look for online as a size, but turns out that there actually 225/45r/17's I was wondering if I can still mount tires as its not too much of a difference, or if it will rub in my wells, also my car is lowered and I was wondering if I would have to raise it up as well, any info would be greatly appreciated

 

what kind of wheels do you have? i'm assuming that they are aftermarket because the stock RS comes with 16' wheels. if you call up the manufacturor of the wheel they can tell you exactly which tire to use. when i bought my Motegi 18's i had to call Motegi themselves to find out the correct tire to use.

 

that really isnt that much of a difference. I dont see you having a problem. Those should also be able to mount onto the stock rims if that is what your rims are calling for.

 

my rims right now that im going to try to mount them on are 17X7's Rs Limited senso wheels, not sure what a phone number for them would be but i can try to find a dealer who might know, unless anyone might have a #
