need a little help

i had my trans rebuilt and my cars idle is going up and down between 1000 and 2000 and when i down shift into second i grind would it come from the high idle its a 95 gst front wheel drive

There is another topic already on this forum dealing with the exact same problem. Look for it a little bit it is a fairly recent topic as well.
