i have a 98 gst that only sparks on 2 n 3...ignition coil,plugs and wires are good...could it be the ignition control module causing only the 2 n 3 coil side to sparK?

 

It MUST be a coil pack. If you were getting no spark on all id say the distrubuter. If you were getting no on 1 then id say wire or plug. But where your not getting it on 1 AND 4 i find it an odd coincidence they they happen to be on the same coil pack. try replacing it.

well i know 110% its not the coil pack cause i bought a new coil and replace it with the 1n4 coil side(that didnt work before)...still no spark but only on 2n3...so what if mabe autozone gave me some pos...i thought so then i swicthed the coil with my old one that worked(2n3) to 1n4 side...n the new coil from autozone to 2n3 side....still same results only 2n3 sparks...tested them with working plugs n wires...tested the continuity on the transistor and all of the wiresbeeb but not an hold beeb...any ideas?

 

Can you clarify this. You tested the transistor......and they are fine?
What was the last thing you did before all this started?

 

the pins on the transistor all beebed when i tested it with a 1.5v battery sorta odd i think?...but all of them didnt hold a beeb...i guess usaully with checking continuity it should hold a beeb not just beeb...but if it just beebed instead of a hold beeb is the transistor still good?
