oil`everywhere!!! help
hey guys i was on my way to a car show today just ridin along on the turnpike and someone cut in font of me so i got over and hit a little bit of boost. Then the car started acting really bad... noooooo power. temp seemed to be fine...... so i pulled over. i went to restart it and it made like a rubbing noise so i stopped.... i popped the hood and checked the oil...... LOW!!! i got on the ground on the driver's side and oil was everywhere!!!! all over the suspension and the under carriage. i just changed the oil pan gasket 2 weeksago and its been fine till now..... i need help.... c'mon guys.... i havent been able to take a look at it yet cuz it didnt get towed back till late..... what else could it be?
If it covered the suspension like it did, the possiblity of it being the crank seal exists.
Just be patient and wait until you have some light, then check around the crank pulley for signs of leaks.
You'll have to clean the mess off, then wait for it to leak again.

howbout double gaskets on the oil filter... that will only leak badat higher rpm.Ive seen it overlooked a thousand times. If it started losing power from low oil your probly already on your way to a messed up engine.[:'(]
