btw heres wat I found on that turbod16 site...

95 Honda Civic EX 5-speed coupe, with 82K miles - 4,000
A set of 17" wheels and tires - 1,100
GReddy 15G Turbo Kit - 1,500
JRC 6" FMIC - 200
GReddy Type-RS BOV - 200
IC piping/couplers - 100
Fluidyne radiator - 300
Apexi World Sport 2 Exhaust - 400
EManage Ignition Harness + cable - 100
GReddy Type-S Boost Controller - 300
PLX M250 Wideband + gauge - 350
Boost gauge - 60
A-piller - 60
ARP Headstuds - 100
ACT HDSS - 350
RC 440 - 300
Sound system - 700
Alarm system - 400

~10,500 in parts

That's my car at the moment

r U sure civics can hit 13's in juss around a grand? cuz if so then whoever owns the civic wit those mods on the list got screwed lol. N btw homemade turbos....also meens homemade piping n everything....I highly doubt U have the equipment to create ur custom piping let alone bend it to fit in ur engine bay. Custom work is only cheap if you do it yourself buddy. So you mite wanna scratch out that grand n put atleast 3-5 on there.
ok minus the sound system and alarm and clutch even that takes $1600 off the top oh and minus the $4000 for the car its self $1100 the wheels and tire since we all know oh you honda boys that are cheap as all hell love rolling of your steel whells w\o hubcaps on them. so $2700 in parts not needed for turbo what does the rest come out to?? it is $3580 like I said I spent a lil more than 3K on my turbo kit and parts for mine are a hell of alot cheaper and easyier to find. And I did all the labor on and this guy didnt post cost of labor to add on top of that. that car could get 13s but as I already said My buddy spent a total of $3K on his 91 GSX including buying the car and he ran a 12.9

yea i have a 97 eclipse spyder gs and all of the damn sudden the damn rod starts to knock and now I have to find a damn new car but that's ok b/c i am going honda screw mitsubishi. I see 1.6L SOHC honda's get better times than GST's verrrrrry often. Yea, they're turboed, but so are GST's and GST's have a lot bigger motors, yet Honda still makes better times....and that's with completely stock internals. My car only had 132,000 miles on it and no, I never really raced. I only ran at the track twice. I have a friend with an 88' CRX with a 1.6L non-VTEC motor that he takes to redline at least 3 times a weak and it has 169,000 miles on it and it still runs good. Got another friend with a 00' Civic EX with a 1.6L SOHC VTEC that he ran 5 times in one night and it ran perfect on the way home. He took it between 7,000 and 7,200 RPM in every gear. He raced 3 times another night at the track and he's raced on the street several times as well. His car is running perfect. Engine is really clean too and he's never changed the head/valve cover gasket...my car has oil very slowly leaking out from somewhere on the head...nothing major but still..little things count. Oh and my transmission has had to be rebuilt before as well...what a pile. Later guys.
i think you are just butt hurt that you blew your motor. give me a dsm and $300 and i will make it run 13's. no honda will do that. i like hondas dont get me wrong, but your argument sucks and lacks credibility

you can build your own intake and MBC, remove the BCS, take the exhaust off and just dump right after the turbo. intake and exhaust isn't the only thing that can be done to the car.

damn straight I have a home made intake and Boost controller lol, and I have seen an EVO that stock runs a 13.4 run a 12.2 with the exhaust dumped after the DP, home made intake and upper IC pipe, boost controller, BOV, Greddy Emanage and A rought tune now those parts that were bought end up to what $500 or so and it made the car near the 11s

hondas are cool when they are stock.... Id own one for a daily driver with no intent of "makeing a fast car" out of it.

I kow intake and exhaust isn't the only thing that can be done. And you're assuming that you're being provided with a turbo DSM...

technically dsm's are only 4g63 powered eclipse, talon, and laser. the nt arent dsms.

buy an air filter for $40, mbc set at 17psi for $40, take off the exhaust, buy a 1g bov for $30, upper ic pipe for $70, damn thats all you really need, $200 and you could pull off 13's, thats all I had when i ran 13.7 @ 96mph an i couldnt even drive that well. my 60 foot time was 2.0 i believe an awd could pull a 1.7. put a lil race gas in there, an u may even run a little better
