do all maintanance first,then start the turbo build up.it should be fine.

the best way is to get a block and build it, not the most cost effective but probably the best for me.

thats what i did,drove my 7 bolt till i finished building the 6 bolt.

Do a compression wet and dry test and also a leak test and see what condition your engine is in. If all that is ok just go ahead w/ the turbo install.
