whats up ppl, got a question..about 2 weeks ago i bought a 98 eclipse GS automatic for my girl...i had these work on my car fixing the timing, new headgasket, hone the valve seats and i was on my way there when at this busy intersection in Tampa, FL my radiator exploded, burst a hole right through the top. they swapped in a new radiator and since my heater core is blocked they removed the thersmostat. now the guy telling me that the positive battery cable is melting, and that might be a reasson for the overheating stil..has anyone had any experiences like this with the 420a motor??

 

coud overheating be caused by an electrical problem or the battery?

 

not that I know of...Thermostat or radiator cap...easy fixes...and I'm not a mechanic or anything but I think removing the thermostat IS BAD
