Default question

can some one tell me what a stock 96 rs should run in th 1/4 mile. I got a couple little mods done and havent ran it yet. Also, i got a bad grinding coming from the tranny. How would i know if its the clutch (throw out bearing) or a dif. pin failure? It only makes the noise when i dont have the clutch down. Its not being driven and got plenty of time for answers please...<edited><editID>SaturnRacing</editID><editDate>38098.6874652778</editDate></edited>

Is it like a gear grinding noise or another kind of grinding noise? Also, do you mean clutch engaged or disengaged, and does it grind when in neutral?</P>

No it doesnt do it grind when i have the clutch engaged. Aslo if its not engaged, it will make a grinding noise in neutral. But when driving, it will go away when i get it into 5th. Is it the clust or what?

hmm....not sure there.....The only car I have ever heard make a grinding noise in neutral is a Supra. Many of them did it from the factory with their stock clutches.
