i used horrible castrol gtx for about a year in my car. Then i switched over to mobil 1 sysnthetic and my car did run allitle better. It reduced the infamous lifter tick. I didn't experience any problems in the switch. So i would say that it is perfectly fine and actually a good thing as everyone is saying.

AIIGHT THATS WASS UP...I MADE THE CHANGE FROM MOBILE HIGH MILAGE 10-40 TO MOBILE 1 SYNTHETIC. MY TURBO FEELS LIKE ITS SPOOLING A LITTLE SMOOTHER, I DUNNO IF ITS JUST ME OR WHAT.. THERE IS ALSO ANOTHER QUESTION THOUGH, I TRIED TO PUT IN A K&N OIL FILTER, BUT THE HP 1010 LOOKS EXTREMELY SMALL, SO I JUST USED THE TOUGH GAURD 3950. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THE K&N FOR A 95 GST LOOK SO SMALL? DOES ANYONE USE THEM?
*WHAT KIND OF TRANSMISSION FLUID SHOULD I SWITCH TO?
THANKS, -D-
