Default right or wrong?

i was talking to a guy the other day. and he said that the srt-4 motor can bolt up to a 2nd gen n/a eclipse.....
????
just got me thinking

The n/a neon has the same block as the GS/RS eclipse (2nd Gen) I dont believe it is the same as the srt4 though.

it's not at all... i heard something about being able to use the transmission, but dont quote me on that, i'm not positive

Yes with really deep pockets and time. But overally its not worth it the new SRT-4 or more an upgrade from the SXT models neons. I read soemwhere thatthe 2.4L is similar to the DOHC 2.OL 420A motor but the 2.OL has interchanglable issues with the2.4L.
