Yeah, I bought some from Checkers out here. I want to say that I saw some 2.5k high temp paint too. 2k should do fine though. Anything over 1.6k EGT temps I would be concerned about anyhow.

its a 1998 ... itsat around for a bit while i was outta town.... its only got 40k .... car is in excelent condition other than that.....

exhaust will always rust unless its stainless, even then it will rust out eventually.
if a car has shiny exhaust you know itssomething nobody ever drives.

and dont worry about the rust on the heat shield or the manifold.... perfectly normal. it won't hurt either of them but if it bothers you that much take Joshewuh's advise.... degreaser and a hell of a scrub tool (steel brush prolly best).

why not just sand it and paint. sanding is 100x quicker than trying to wire brush it.
