NGK Classic Spark Plugs, and change the spark plug wires.

Is this a turbo or non turbo?

sounds like a fuel pressure regulator problem. It can't adjust to the change in fuel pressure when you let off the gas. That is why it would feel jerky

sounds like either a fuel related issue. Either the fuel filter, fuel pump, or like he said FPR

or a sensor issue. Either the ISC Motor or posibbly a bad map sensor.

Welcome to havign fun with cars . Its always something. And these types of small issues really are a pita to figure out since it could be so many things

I'm with TE...sounds kinda fuel related too..like he said a new fuel filter should be put on and they are a cheap fix..change the plugs and wires if they haven't been changed in a while...I had a '97 Spyder GS at one point and it would run like **** until it hit about 3,000 RPM's...chugging, idling like crap, etc....I had my brother take a look at it and he replaced the plugs and wires and that's all it was thank God...Ran beautifully after that...Find someone with a scan tool too and see if any codes come up.

I still think its spark.

Seriously, platinum plugs are the biggest crock of ****.

And anything other than factory wires, is a step down. (apart from coil on plug)
