Default Short Ram Intake for 98 Eclipse Spyder?

I was wondering if anybody on this forum has had problems finding any kind of air intake for a 98 Eclipse Spyder. My engine is a 2.4 liter and all intakes that I've looked up are for the 2.0 liter or turbo charged. Does anyone know where I can find one for my car and what brand. Any suggestions would be helpful.

i had the same problem, my solution was to cut off the snorkel, aka the dead end air box, buy a cheap cone cold air filter and fit it over the hole left by the other box, and just take out your stock air filter. woked beautifully for my car. then you can also adjust the amount of air let through the mass air sensor, (the little black box with wires coming from your intake) if you take that off there is a screw in the bottom covered by silicone. just scrape the silicone out and unscrew the screw a little, the more you unscrew it the more air your letting through, just be carefull doin this cause the extra air isnt being measured by the air sensor and will mess with your air fuel ratio in the computer. the computer measures the amount of air coming into the engine and adjusts the fuel map accordingly. therefore if youve got a lot more air coming in than what the computer reads, your car will run lean.
