RE: So I ripped off my oil filter
how'd you rip the filter off? the oil filter is higher than the oil pan, the trans , and theres other stuff in the way. ive layed my entire car on its frame from bottoming out and all i got was a cracked bumper and a dent in the trans filter cover.

That's probably the cause of the engine seizure. The oilpan was crushed upwards effectively blocking the oil pickup tube (sump) causing eventual oil starvation. Those of you whom have crushed oil pans be weary if this heppening to you. We had a customer come into the shop one time about 1 week after having her timing belt done from another shop. She was complaining of a severe knock from the engine. It turns out that the shop that did the timing belt caved in her oil pan just enough to cause oil starvation due to a blocked pickup tube. When doing a timing belt- it helps to tilt the engine up by lowering it on a block of wood (with the motor mount removed). The block of wood sat smack dab in the center of the oil pan instead of the strong edges. Needless to say, she wasn't happy.
