I was wondering about the two holes on top of the front dash are they speaker holes??? and if they are what size do i put in them and if not what are they?? also the infinity website has a car fitting guide and says i should be able to fit 6x9's in the back and i got a pair of 3-way 6x9's and go figure they don't fit is there some maguic word that alows them to fit....haha....

 

my pioneer six by nines fit in my gst back seat but from what i understand its all about what the car was purchased with originally if they went with premium sound or what not. my friend had a 99 gs and it wouldnt fit 6x9's in the back so he just got some nice screws and made it work. but mine i just swapped out for the stock 6x9's. im curious about the speakers on top of the dash too are they even really speakers? if not what the he77 could they be

 

so i found out that the holes on the top are for two speakers cause i got some from a junkyard and put them in just to see what would happen and they work so interesting haha and i don't think i could rig up my 6x9's to fit in the back two holes they are uber big and they have like an extra half inch to an inch of space between the holes and the holes don't even line up. i think i might just splice them in and put them in their own boxes in the back hatch....i dunno, you can never have to many speakers!! haha

 

yes those front holes are a set of tweeters. atown is also correct about it being an option. i believe the spyder's have 6x9's stock also.
