Default Speed Sensor Wire

I recently got myself a nice greddy full auto timer, everything works that i have hooked up, the only thing that i don't kno what to do with, is the speed sensor wire i'm suppose to attach to my car, my question is this, what color is the speed sensor wire, and where is the easiest spot to find it. I have a 98 spyder gs-t. I even called the dealer and they don't kno. I NEED HELP.

how would a dealer not know, the best thing to do is go to autozone and look in the haynes manual, they should have an ECU wiring diagram in there that will tell you what color and where the wire is. Then you can just tap into it.

I agree with Engineer get a Haynes manual they have good wiring diagrams for the ECU. FYI the speed sensor itself is located on the top of the transmission for a M/T and in the speedometer for an A/T

Is your car an Auto or Manual Transmission? I am at work right now, when I get home tonight I will look and see what I can find and point you in some direction.

Well the easiest spot to find the speed sensor is on the transmission. As for the wire I haven't a clue where it is inside the car itself.

Ok sorry for the delay. I found that if you pull the ECU connector out the Speed Sensor wire will be the one Numbered 19. You can tell the number cause if you are looking at the connector the number 1 pin is the top left. The bottom left pin starts at 14. Hope this helps.
