This really looks like a pain... How hard is it to get the starter off a 97 eclipse? Does it come out the top or bottom. Any help needed... Thanks.

 

depeds on the engine. if its a rs or gs the starter is right under the header and is pretty easy to remove. however on the turbo eclipse the starter is under the Throttle body so you have to work on it from under the car.
