Strange noises

In my GS Eclipse I hear squilling noises as a press harder on the gas pedal. Also whenever I stop it sounds like the car is clicking as it downshifts. It is automatic, so what are these noises? Thanks,

hmmmm i dont have an auto but maybe some kind of trans problem i would assume. maybe not i could be wrong maybe timing?

The only thing i can think of is a tranny flush for starters. But i really cant say because the the description is pretty vague

O.k I heard it could be a distributor or something, but the Eclipse I have does not have one. Well I am selling it so I should not care. LOL, thanks guys
