Pulled into my garage the other nite, sunroof was open. When I got in it the next morning, I closed the sun roof on the way to work. Then I tried to open it on the way home, when I pushed the button to open it, it would try to pop up, but would not go up far enough to slide back. I can push it up with my hand and it will go back. It seems that the rubber gasket my be hanging up a little. I cleaned the gasket off but had no success. Can't figured why it worked one day and would not work again. Any suggestions please, is there a adjustment on it? Thanks for your help!!

 

check your fuse.....

 

I stated that the sunroof would pop up but not enough to slide back, i can push it up with my hand and it will go all the wayn up and continue all the way back, and it will close with no problem. Can't be the fuse!!

 

Depending on the way your sunroof is set up it could be either one of your motors is shot (Does one side appear to hang more than the other?) OR if it's a single motor (Don'tt hink an of them are for the eclipses but there MAY be one ou there LOL) it may be a sign of the electrical motor weakening and getting ready to quit. That would be the firt thing I would check. And does it make any unusual sounds when you try to put it up? I'm definately going with a bad motor due to the fact that a weak motor will close the sunroof because it's weiught is helping but won't be able to get the sunroof open.
