Default Suspension

Ball joints and such. I have a 95 GS, (n/t) and my suspension is GONE. I bought this car as a fixer upper, so I understand some costs involved. Question is:

Do I HAVE to buy the upper/lower ball-joints off of the dealer (whom I dislike with a passion), or is there an aftermarket dealer with just as good, or hopefully better at a fraction of the cost?

It doesn't have to stop at suspension, but that is a good start. Would it work better for me to lower the car? I need everything hooked to the tire. Would it be cheaper to go the rout of coilovers? Please, I could use some advice here.

well coilovers really only give you the strut and the spring. To save a bit id just get some good struts, and i guess lowering springs if you have to replace them. For all the suspension parts there must be places around you that sell auto parts. Just go there and check out some prices. They should should be much less than factory parts and will work just fine.
