So do you want to raise the front of the car a bit to avoid the scraping? (I see tons of 2nd gen eclipses with scraped front bumpers...)

Dude, I don't know if your being stupid or what, but yea, I bottom out now every now and then, but I don't need to increase the chances of it or have to slow to a crawl everytime I see a speed bump or enter a driveway. So to answer your Q, no I don't plan on raising the car.

yes.. raising the car increases the chances of bottoming out
