i have a 94 eclipse with a 2.0L DOHC, TURBO, and AWD. The car shifts fine however at slower speeds down to an idle i hear a grinding noise. I don't think it is the output shaft seal but it could be the transfer case. Anyone come across this and does anyone have a used transmission that i might even purchase????

 

your gears might be stripping. crud on the flywheel. but if you need a transmission try finding one from a 91-93 galant vr-4. the gear ratio is better and will bolt right up. they are hard to come by but well worth it.
