Vibration while braking

Default Vibration while braking

i just got a used 95 eclipse GS 2 weeks ago and there is vibration when i am braking. the steering wheel vibrates too, could this just be that i need to resurface my rotors or do i need new pads? id appreciate any help anyone can give me

Wow, I thought I was the only one who had that problem. I also had it mentioned to me that it might be a caliper thats sticking. I don't know if that's true or not but I'm having the same vibration problems at any rate. I don't know if it's true for you but after a casual afternoon of driving you'd think I'd been on a road track for hours from the temp of my brakes so yeah...theres my input.

resurface your rotors and replace pads.....

Someone did a cool 120 to 0 brake a few times... or at least thats how I warped/cracked my rotors.

I had that my on my old 01 eclipse rs and i changed my rotors and pads and it was perfectly fine after that, rotors dont cost that much so i would suggest replacing them instead of resofacing them, thats my advice...

there you go....best thing and safer ....replace your rotors, and i think rotors run for about $45 buckz?? er' up...but its cheap for a set.

i found rotors for $40 a piece so i may as well replace them and the pads. thanks for the advice!

I had this same trouble with my 2003 GS. I was told the rotors are quite thin on these cars and warp easily. My rotors were resurfaced twice and then finally had to be replaced a year or so later. Best of luck!
