Default Washer Fluid Reservoir Issue

I hate to sound like a complete newb, but I'm having windshield washer fluid problems. My washer fluid began to dry up, so I assumed it was empty, i went to fill it up, however the only resevoir i can find is in the trunnk luggage compartment, I have a 2.4L non-turbo eclipse spyder, the manual says the reservoir should be in the engine compartment, however i can find none, so i filled the reservoir in the trunk, however the only the old fluid is trickling out, The new fluid i bought has a green tint, and I'm seeing clear like the old fluid. Am I doing something wrong, or am I blind and can't see the real reservoir?

It sounds like you're all set. In teh evo's the resevoir is in the trunk and that runs the front and back windshield washer fluid.

the resevior is in the rear. But if your still not getting much then its possible it could be a bad pump. It usually mounted at the bottom of the resevior

with cars as old as ours, I have found that some times dirt and other crap builds up in these lines as well as others...i.e. the trunk drains... at times i blow these lines out with compressed air.. seems to do the trick also if you open the hood somtimes times the nozzles get clogged take off the feed line and blow them out too
