Default how do I replace fluid in reservoir at back passenger undercar??

I have a fluid hose that goes to a container on the bottom right undercarriage of my 2003 Montero full size truck. The end of the tubing connecting to the hose broke and most if not all of the fuild leaked out. I repaired the line. Now I need to know what type of fluid was in there and where to replace it from. It does not look or smell like transmission or brake fluid or engine oil, and none of those fluid reservoirs are low in the engine compartment.

Can you help.

Don't know about the full-size Montero but the Montero Sport has a rear window washer reservoir back there. The filler is underneath the tailgate on the right side near the tail lamp. It just uses standard window washing fluid.
